Tricompax or Montbrillant Datora..help me decide!

Recommended Posts

After spending quite a bit of time in the Breitling forums, I've decided that I must have a Navitimer

The only problem is deciding between a tricompax or a montbrillant datora.

I plan on getting a white dial and brown leather band for both. I also plan on getting AR done by FineDD.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand the datora is more accurate in that it is newer, you don't have the sunken dw, and the slide wheel is more accurate.

According to Joshua's website, the datora is only .5mm larger diameter so the size isn't really an issue and they both look amazing!

What are your thoughts? Any advantages of one over the other (reliability of movement/chrono maybe)?

I'm quickly finding out that this hobby can be dangerously addictive :prop:
