  1. I'm no movement expert so I'm just talking from common knowledge but seeing as it's a sec@9 7750 it should be fine. However, I don't know how that gmt hand plays into the movement or how it works. I would think it actually does move as the time goes on which would put even more stress on the movement itself = not good. But wudda I know
  2. I know this thread is old and dead but whatever... The gen is 44mm, not 46 as previously stated. Has anyone had their hands on the rep? I'm curious to know the actual size of it.
  3. http://www.lifeproof.com/lifeproof-store/apple-cases/iphone-4 boom. End of discussion
  4. I sure noticed! I ordered a PO almost 2 weeks ago from PC and my bank blocked the transaction so I had to call them and override it. The next day I made the same order and it cost me $20 more
  5. Maybe Josh will have some suggestions?
  6. My mistake, I didn't clarify in the topic. I'm talking about bezel inserts for the 16610 Noobmariner. Is there a dealer that carries more accurate inserts than others?
  7. I've done a lot of searching for this and can't really come up with any info. I'm looking to replace my noobmariner bezel with something more gen like. I came across this post by gio new bezel inserts but it seems to be outdated. How do watchMaterial or jewelryOutlet stack up? What place has most accurate bezels?
  8. Does the website still exist? It doesn't seem to work for me..I'm looking for a noob bezel replacement
  9. Any luck so far hebrew? Does the gen crown fit?
  10. Thanks for the advice Do you guys think that with general wear the polished part will look significantly more scratched than the non-polished part? If so I'll just go for a sub..
  11. I've done a few searches and couldn't come up with anything on this subject. I've put my name on the list for a bk GMTc but I'm questioning whether the polished part of the bracelet is super prone to scratching and if so what there is I can do about it? Any current owners or ppl with experience care to weigh in?
  12. Well in that case I'll be deciding for myself for a very, very long time
  13. Gen Emergency. Makes me feel safe (sorry bad iphone pic)
  14. I was kind of wandering this myself, as the only thing I've read since I've been lurking contributing to these forums are specific details about watches I'm interested in. I'd like to see how close a rep can be to the gen straight out of the box.
  15. Thanks for the advice guys Pabler is that the brown dial version? Any idea how close the color is to gen?
  16. awesome watches! May I ask where exactly you got the breitling strap from? It looks great
  17. After spending quite a bit of time in the Breitling forums, I've decided that I must have a Navitimer The only problem is deciding between a tricompax or a montbrillant datora. I plan on getting a white dial and brown leather band for both. I also plan on getting AR done by FineDD. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand the datora is more accurate in that it is newer, you don't have the sunken dw, and the slide wheel is more accurate. According to Joshua's website, the datora is only .5mm larger diameter so the size isn't really an issue and they both look amazing! What are your thoughts? Any advantages of one over the other (reliability of movement/chrono maybe)? I'm quickly finding out that this hobby can be dangerously addictive
  18. Much appreciated Loopy! BTW- for owners of leather BOB straps - how is the quality? I'm looking to get a croc strap for my breitling but don't want it to feel/look like plastic.
  19. So is WACCEX Bob's ebay username? Where are these bob straps you guys are talking about?
  20. How about a cheaper replacement for a gen croco strap? Anyone know any sites or suggestions?
  21. Haha that bad huh? your evil is welcome here! What does cg stand for? The lugs are what kill it for me, they have a lot of space between them. I take it a noobfactory sub is noticeably better?
  22. I got this sub in August of 2008. As you can see, it's been through a lot! Just curious as to what you guys think of it. See any major flaws? And yes, I realize the 12 o'clock thing is missing It has SWISS ETA 2836-2 movement.
