Yes, Sony disabled the ability to multi-boot into different operating systems a couple of years ago. That hacker in California was taken down by Sony and the DMCA by distributing the technology to re-enable the ability to run Linux.

I got YLOD (yellow light of death) on my ps3 ysterday!!!

I know it could be fixed but it can happen again :(

So i bought the slim one 160gig :D

My first one lasted 4,5 years!

I know Sony wanted make pursuits to all persons who has DL the H@Ck on GeoHot page... Hot !

And what Anonymous did to Sony was not totally Good because Psn was offline for a long time but Sony has took a Big kick in his Ass !

yeah i bet they wont try suing a kid again anytime soon. wait who am i kidding, its sony. being offline effected their bottom line and that seems to be what they understand most, message sent, message received.
