dutchguy2
I wanted to build a matching Logo 201/A. I studied them a lot of pictures on the net. Quite a lot of info can be found. Most 201/A where matching in dial and hands but after time the dial seems to alter different than the hands. That is what I wanted to reproduce on mine. So what are the ingredients: - DSN Pre-V case set - A very good crystal, sapphire with great optics. - Swiss ETA 6497-1 - FGD dial - FGD hand set - My own lume mixture (a lot of try and error and patience) - Torro Bravo CG (modded) - T-48 crown plus tubus - DSN case back - Correct Pre-V lug bars The most difficult part was the lume job on hands and dial. I think a made at least 4 attempts on the hands and 3 on the dial. I wanted a vintage look on both with that great cream/ivory white on the hands and great cream yellow/orange/peach on the dial. Important was/is that it still glows. So I needed to reproduce Tritium in glow, color and texture. Well this is the result: Dial just finished Dial and hands assembled Movement shot Finished 201/A Lume shot I hope my iPhone shots show the nice vintage feel and look of this watch. Thank you for looking

Umhp The lume job..aaa ooo. hımmm... Let me say not my cup of tea I prefer the smooth texture instead of grainy... But I always appriciate your works and effords Thx Edited June 10, 2011 by panera
dutchguy2
Hi Panera, thank you for your comment. It is highly appreciated. Don't forget you see the dial magnified in the picture. In real life it is not that noticeable. Still it remains a matter of taste and I like it this way. Ohh and it is actually my first dial I ever lumed, so yes there is A LOT to improve here
