interesting, can't you just take the parts needed from the asain 2824-2 or they are not can be compatible?

Hour wheel and canon pinion don't seem like they should be too big a deal. Of course you need longer versions to be usable with the DD module on. Perhaps that's the rub.

that's correct, you need the longer parts to go over the DD module and those are not easy or cheap to find.

You can buy a working watch with the same complete movement for not much more. Those particular movements have been circulating around for years. The original person had well over a 150 a few years ago. I bought a half a dozen of those same movements for well below that price and other than the couple I was able to find those parts in a separate random parts purchase the rest are basically paper weights.
