correctime
I have one that I acquired in a trade deal a few years ago. Mint condition, never been worn, brass ring for eta 2836 inside. It has no mvt., dial or hands. Would anyone know a fair market price for this ?

Sipha
Being a 16610 I'm guessing it won't have lug holes. Post up some pics for us

correctime
Here are some picts of the MBW. Try to overlook my photo shooting skills.
highoeyazmuhudee
id say the value depends on the retaining ring construction. if its the ring with the groove for the nylon gasket it would low 100. if its like the 1:1 ring with proper fitting insert and no nylon gasket id say $150-$180 shipped

But way back then I tried a gen insert and it fit very well. This is the insert I put in it and the fact that it fit was the only reason I never scrapped the case. It seems not many rep models can take gen parts.
correctime
guess I should have resized the picts. I will do that next time
highoeyazmuhudee
did the insert fit the bezel ring correctly while installed on the watch over the crystal? or did you just try the bezel ring while it was off?
correctime
The gen insert fits the bezel ring very nicely. But the bottom of the insert required a tad bit of shaving to prevent it from rubbing the retaining ring. The retaining ring is just a tad too tall for a perfect fit. And I didn't want to try shaving the ring. Edited August 18, 2011 by correctime
Eiderdaus
IMHO the case is not more worth than 150$. The expected cost on rebuilding the watch would exceed the value of the replica.
