This sounds like a "salesman" trying to MOVE their oversize watches that no one is buying. Sort of the opposite response to GQ/Esquire.

In my opinion, if a magazine has men in the title; menshealth, askmen, mensfitness, mensjournal -- run away... :o Too much bubble-gum psychology, fitness/style fad of the month driven by their sponsors.

Also the opposite of their own 'Watch Snob'. The site constantly contradicts itself in that regard with generic write ups of 'must have watches' and styles that are then panned by the watch snob's Q&A on their very own website. A good example of that is their generic press release sounding write up for the DSSD versus his bashing of it.
