Mills Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 (edited) Anybody got some good tips on how to clean and maintain the titanium of the 176/177? I had a couple of surface scratches I just took out with Astonish oven and cookware cleaner, which is slightly abrasive, and it worked a treat but I'm sure there must be a better way. BTW Astonish has fine silica flour in it to give it the abrasiveness http://www.astonishcleaners.com/documents/document-astonish-g5ldh.pdf Edited August 31, 2011 by Mills
FxrAndy Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 You can use the harder part of a double sided eraser to remove scratches on titanium as well
lala Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 what is fhe best version of 176 in the market?
Mills Posted August 31, 2011 Author Report Posted August 31, 2011 what is fhe best version of 176 in the market? I purchased mine from Andrew at Trusty time which is the M version and apparently the best on the market at the moment.
Jkay Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 There are titanium refinishing "pens" sold at watch supply stores online. Hold it like a pen, and go to work.
