Correct rewind

Hi

I'm just wondering if it does anything to the movement/gears when you rewind your watch either with the lever closed or open?

It always bugs me that I have to hold the Crown to avoid it spinning the opposite way each time I'm rewinding - which is why i rewind it with the over in closed position.

Any thougts/advice?

Can you elaborate? I dont think I have ever heard of such a issue. Maybe I just dont understand the problem,wouldn't be the first time.

What a Strange request. I've never heard of this can you please explain why you need to do this?

Well assuming you have spring loaded crown it makes no diffrence it you wind with lever open or closed, but it makes more sense while open.

Not sure what you mean, it it's spinning in the opposite direction and unwinding something is wrong.
