  1. Very nice! I hope you get your parts installed soon.
  2. Well assuming you have spring loaded crown it makes no diffrence it you wind with lever open or closed, but it makes more sense while open. Not sure what you mean, it it's spinning in the opposite direction and unwinding something is wrong.
  3. This is very odd! I look forward to how this develops. Weird issue...
  4. Hi, thanks! There is no need to have an attachment. It works kind of like you say, the ring has enough outward pressure and contact with the dial to keep everything in place. It's an incredibly simple system and works surprisingly well. More pics if it helps:
  5. Waiting on the correct display case back and some tweaks to finish it. Thoughts? I know the hands are unusual but it's fantasy(I've got a pam hand set in my parts bin that fits the 917 if you guys hate it)
  6. Wow! All three are very beautiful! Very good quality leather.
  7. Hi everyone, Wanted to share this with you guys. (Still have to age the hands to match dial, but ran out of time)
  8. Hi everyone. I'd like to share my latest project with you. The lume:
  9. Wonderful collection txcollector! Very nice box and pics too. They look great!
  10. Thank you for the link! This looks nice!
  11. Dial is a dark purple. I may put it back on the jubilee because I agree it still looks better on metal. Thanks guys!
  12. My gen datejust. Originally received it with a jubilee bracelet. I chose to buy a bund strap to give it a vintage look. Crystal needs replacement but for now it adds character.
  13. Wow, that's pretty impressive. Wish they used black hands though. The gen looks incredible.
  14. I love tall ones like this but I agree, it's too tall in this case.
  15. Keep! I looks great on your wrist. Lovely watch.
  16. Beautiful job! Looks amazing.
  17. I'm a vintage pam homage guy but the last few months I've developed a love for rolex daytonas. Most especially the Paul Newman variants. In your opinion, what seller would you recommend for the best daytona reps? I know silix has some but that's all I can find, don't have much experience with reps. I'm looking in the 100~300$ range.
