Somebody, somewhere wrote an interesting post describing how they fixed a loose Navitimer bezel using dental floss or something like that.

I'll be damned if I can find it now. If anyone can point me to it I'd appreciate it.

I have a loose bezel on my Skyland Avenger and I'd like to try this fix to see how it goes.

its quite simple

all you gotta do is cut a long enough piece of floss and sneak it under the bezel with a thin blade, looping it and turning the bezel around until you feel it's tight enough.

Knot it up once its there, cut off the rest and use it to tuck the leftover piece under

Dental floss did the job. Bezel much firmer and doesn't spin round at the slightest touch.
