projectologist Posted September 16, 2011 Report Share Posted September 16, 2011 Did a little work on it (cg lever both tip and rollerball/pin area)... other than that it's a winner. CG opening is better with sharper inner cutout corners than the 005K and the crown is the correct width (the 005K's crown was a tad too thick). Crystal appears to be the same as the K's and the height is perfect on my copy. The big surprise for me (besides the movement working for more than 2 hours) was how nicely it was finished. Lo-beat/hi-beat, I could care less as long as it keeps good time and runs 40+ hours per wind. But this one has really nice engraving with well done polished edges and flat polished gear screws (typically they're slightly domed which screams rep). Couple of phone pics...
