My 1665 And 1680 Projects: What's Left To Do?

Hi mates,

I decided a few months ago to build (or have built would be more precise...) two vintage Rolex: one is a 1665 GWSD and the other is a white 1680.

Both were coming from MBW.

1665: modded by Domi

-Clark crystal

-drilled lugholes

-shaved CGs

-gen crown and tube

-low beat 2846

-PT insert

-PT 93150 bracelet and 580 endlinks

1680: modded by Grand Chief The Zigmeister :red_indian:

-Clark crystal

-DIal and hands relumed with vintage tritium mix, the original lume was terrible!

-Drilled lug holes, chamfered and case polished

-CGs reshaped

-Gen crown and tube

-low beat 2846

-PT insert

-PT 93150 bracelet and 580 endlinks

As I don't want to go the franken way (except maybe for some cheap stuffs, like inserts,..), how can I improve those watches?

I tried several times to bleach the inserts, but never managed: half bleach, half very hot water. I dropped the insert in the mix and let it stay here for half an hour withour any modification!

Did someone manage to bleach PT inserts, or MBW ones?

Thank you for your help!
