glennpenn Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 I´m planning on getting a new IWC rep. Which is the model with least problems with the movement? G
valerian Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Is reliability really your only criterion? If so, get anything without subdials and a gen ETA, for instance an Ingenieur or a Aquatimer. Maybe you'll even find a quartz rep. Might be totally off but reliable. Val.

I have a Pilots watch without subdials, and even this one is not reliable...
glennpenn Posted October 24, 2011 Author Report Posted October 24, 2011 No one else got any views on which is the best IWC rep..?
PPN Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 I'd be interested in this too. Especially in the Ingy or pilots.
vilius69 Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 I guess a vintage porto is. Ingy needs AR and possibly DW. Mark XVI is pretty good too but again AR and crown.

Noel Fleischer Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 Ingy is a very nice and reliable watch. I've had 2 BP with PR break within a month. The Portuguese is a known headache with sec @ 6. The Pilot chronos are nice and fairly reliable in my experience. If you want the best- get a Concepta with gen movement
JohnCraig Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Get a 3717 and get it serviced. Beautiful rep that no one will recognize as a rep. Classic watch and a serviced a7750 is very reliable
