It's the story of Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read, one of Australia's most notorious criminals. He chopped off his own ears, Van Gogh style, to get moved from a high-security prison because people were trying to kill him. ...now he has a really hot wife and write's children's books... A rehabilitated man, as they say. Definitely check out Chopper. Incidentally, Bana also played the Evil Guy in the latest Star Trek, A leading role in Troy, he was The Hulk, and it all began from a little suburb about 8kms from where I'm from very humble guy, and a great actor. In the 2000s, we had a huge mafia turf war and for several months, people from both sides were being shot at once a week.
