StormTooper4 Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 Thought I'd show the 2 case types for the older type Daylights. At the risk of offending the origi-risti's, I actually prefer the incorrect case sets slimmer profile, lower bezel and chrono buttons. Have always wondered how the incorrect case set came about , does anyone know? ST4
Watchmeister Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 I don't have access to pictures on my current computer but I can guess which cases you are talking about - the first generation that came out on the original 7753's and first gen Asian 7750 movements and then the subsequent case for the non-7753. And the short answer as far as I know the new model came from a different factory.
maxman Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 I have the older a7750 250 case...It's been a great watch. Mike
Watchmeister Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 And here is a pair of the first generation rep case and a gen. The first generation was much closer to the gen.
hackR Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 love to see that middle PAM in your pix, Wm...too lazy to recall the model number - but by far, my favorite PAM chrono...too bad the rep doesn't look this good!... R-
TK471 Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 This thread is a perfect example of how far these watches have come since I joined. Thanks for the comparison.
