FxrAndy
I just picked up some date wheels from a friend and i noticed these two in his collection, are these 7750 date wheels Panerai fonts, I checked them agains his Pam 7750 movement that the has loose in his workshop and they look the same to me! Experts please chime in

prdubis
The one on the left is definitely not Panerai font... The other two look like coming from PAM Cartel Ultimate Edition...
FxrAndy
These are not rep wheels that is for sure as I picked them up from a place where rep parts would not found!
Watchmeister
I don't know enough about the rep versus gen date wheels but the font is correct and the silk screening or whatever they use to apply the numbers looks remarkably good. Jurgenk
Not an expert here but the alignment looks appropriate for a 3 o'clock window position. Your friend must have some nice watches passing through his workshop.
FxrAndy
So if i was to offer these two for sale what whould be a sensible price?
w0lf
Taka sells his 7750 datewheels for 59Euro. If these are OEM PAM though I've seen them fetch as much as $
dluddy
They look pretty good - one on the left is a bit thinner font as mentioned but there is variability among the Gen Auto's....
FxrAndy
The one on the left is a standard ETA DW i put there for comparison with the other two D
prdubis
Sorry Andy, I was speaking of the ETA when I said fonts were wrong!
Jurgenk
I think if you're fairly certain of their lineage you'd be right to ask $200 or so, the aftermarket DWs do have some glitches and limitations, even though some look really convincing Edited December 14, 2011 by Jurgenk
FxrAndy
If anyone is interested these are now for sale in the tools and parts area
