lgking Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 I am wanting to know if any AP Divers come with a Selita SW200 movement? While some ETA's can be 'old' movements or 'recycled', I get the feeling that any SW200's being used would be NEW movements (?). Does anybody have any experience with this? Cheers
torobravo Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 It depends on the source, if the watch is from the N or the H factory, you won´t have any surprise with refurbished ETA movement. It´s a matter of time anyway when all factories will switch to Sellita as ETA is sometimes very difficult to get and prices are higher every day.
txcollector Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 be careful with the SW200. It has a defect in the hatched wheel that Sellita has fixed with the SW200-1. I'm assuming these "Swiss" reps come with the obsolete SW200.
calatrava Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 I don't know about the AP diver, but the cartel 1:1 Nautilus comes with the SW200-1 movements.

Is it marked as a SW200-1, but have the brass gears associated with the SW200? The two I have are marked SW200-1, but I haven't taken them apart to check that the brass gears have been replaced with steel gears.
wat44 Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 There are reps with both 200 and 200-1
