Unfortunately my MM GT XL has fallen down and the rings on the dial got loose, it´s a one piece construction Easy to fix with 2 dots of glue I thought... so I started taking the movement out to fix it! I released the stem by pushing the button and I unscrewed the litte movement holder (those tiny metal stripes screwed to case and reaching over the movement) The movement ist now rotatable a bit (few mm) but it won´t come out at all?!! Can you please give me an advice how to get it out? It will come out with dial and everything, right? So I can easily fix the rings??! Thanks a lot for your help.. Guest mikemcnair Posted May 24, 2014 Report Share Posted May 24, 2014 I have this piece, and there are indeed longer screws that hold the crystal/bezel assembly on like a sandwihich, and once these are removed the movement comes out the front. The only caution I will express is to keep the caseback screws and the bezel/crystal screws SEPERATE. They are similar, but the ones for the bezel are longer.
