Best out of box Reps

can everybody list their top (or top 2) our of box Pan reps and the source? Best in terms of 'closeness' to the gen.

I too would really like this information. New to the forums but have been reading as much as possible on this and can't seem to find a sub $150 Pam 243 replica that has the same sort of heft to it as the gen (visually). The proportions of case size to bezel always look diminished in the reps and the homages.

Been away for a few months, but the PAM005K/L and the PAM318s were/are superb OTB.

I'll say 026 and 288, since those are the two I bought this year. Confirmation bias, or are they just that good?

292k - the ceramic case can fool most if you choose to.

Not many non-rep geeks can believe the case can be repped.

There is lot of good replicas, PAM or no Pam, out there. The all have flaw`s. Not available perfect rep from any dealer. But there IS lot of good replicas. If rest( look) is fine or very fine , still you have crap movement inside, even if it has "swiss one" ( real swill= usually used swiss movement, lifetime unknown)

hint: buy a watch with closed case back .

Is this the reason Panerai started making them like that? Because it started getting tougher and tougher to spot the reps otherwise? Or is it for some other reason?
