kuli Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 I've similar problems with the 088 1. GMT hand is in a world of its own. Doesn't function alongside with the other hands 2. Power reserve is unstable sometimes 1 day sometimes less. 3. sometimes the watch just stops for an hour and starts on its own again. 4 Lume is green while on others its blue Where did you get blue lume? Mine works perfect
fotoman Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Sometimes the new movements are a little sticky, it can break in. Also, if it's still not moving try lleaving the crown guard open, and see if it runs. Sometimes the stem is to long.

I set the time , put it on my wrist, it keeps time for like 1 hour then the minute hand stops moving. lame?? I wind it by the crown, set the time, put it on.. Then Wear it. Keeps time for a few minutes, then the minute hand just doesnt move lol

The seconds keep spinning round and round but minute hand does not move. What the hell I don't understand what could be the problem, crazy.

MapsMoney Posted January 29, 2012 Author Report Posted January 29, 2012 ^ it only looks blue in that one pic, gen is lime greenish lume as the rep is.. mine looks great minus the poor AR coating, but the movement is just bad.. it doesnt work at all ;(.. Im waiting on a replacement ;0

The game does not change .. you MIGHT get a bad one .. but a trusted dealer will treat you right. If you don't want to send it back to China, there are trusted watchsmiths here ready to fix it up.

relaxman Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 The AR is great in my opinion. I think that is a little more reflective do to the shiny black dial and why would you want it relumed? Mine is as bright as a torch.

What the hell I don't understand what could be the problem, crazy. esentialy it is a slipping clutch, butr the seconds hand does not run through the clutch so that is why the seconds run fine

Asian GMT hands have been a problem ever since the beginning of time. I would get it replace, then get it serviced! MM

Jkay Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Does the 088 rep use a 7750?? It's a GMT movement, isnt it? If its a 7750 then George in Texas or Vaccum in Florida are your men ... Katt does not do 7750.
