relaxman
Well received my 390 yesterday and wasn't really impressed with the strap everyone bragged about until I decided to give it a little olive oil love. What was meh is now a soft beauty. One thing to look out for is the screw on the buckle was so small for mine and just slid in and out of the threads . This is the second 24mm pre-v buckle I've had with the same problem. I can't seem to find the right size so I added my Kain pig buckle. Here it is on my 005k. Like ? relaxman
Long drawn out process that takes oh about 2 minutes.. First I worked the strap by rolling it back and forth to soften it up. Next lightly applied extra virgin olive oil with a soft cloth working it into the leather. I then allied lexol leather conditioner and that was it ( not really needed) Less olive oil will achieve a more aged look. The key is to talk nice to the strap whilst massaging the olive oil in. lfovco
A buckle on my 390 has the same problem. Not well made. I actually ordered mine with rubber strap just out of curiosity. That thing smells like it was in a middle of oil tank explosion = trash can.
