Breguet Flying B tourbillon stopped

I have moved this from Cheifs AR area to GD so it will actualy get seen, there is no need to also post in Vacs Mod shop as well

FYI

the term over wound is not realy some thing that means any thing. if you wound the watch to tight then the main spring or the stem would snap, the movement most likely needs a service but finding a watchsmith that will work on a rep is one thing finding one that will work on a rep tourbillion is another and what he would charge is again a major factor,

It is not very oftern that i would say that something cant be repaired (an even in this case it could be if:-

A you find a watch smith that will work on reps

B you find one that has experience on a tourbilion

C his price is less than the cost of a new watch

D, he can get any spares thhat may be needed.)

Personaly in this case i would look for a new watch

PS it is not a good idea to put your email address on the open internet

Repairing a flying tourby replica is like trying to repair a clock that was attached to TNT. Those things are meant to break down after a short period of time. ;)

On what do you base that?

I have been wondering about the reliability of tourbys, but have not seen anything to substantiate what you say here.
