asciwhite
If you have a broken strap you can make your own.. I am only missing a halfring/keyring a little glue and press and voila! You only need the long side of the strap, a buckle and a keeper. Pictures. Not finished but very close.
slask111
Great idea, i happen to have a strap laying around. Ill go fiddle with it right away, thnx!
slask111
This is my idea. I just took an old rep strap. Used the short side of the strap and left the buckle where it is. Then i took the long side and mounted it as you would when using the strap on your wrist. Im now about to cut the long side of under the buckle and glue it. Then just to add a keyring and voila. Yes i photoshopped the pic, i havent cut the long side of the strap yet.
slask111
Next idea. This time you dont have to destroy a strap (for thoose who dont have a broken strap). It gets a bit thick at the buckle, but that dosent bother me. With this solution no glue or cutting is needed. Here is just wrap the long side of the strap around the short one, and everything is hold in place by the keepers.

Jkay
A ring with a flat bottom is called a D-RING ... and you probably have to have it sewn in.
