homesicktexan Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 I've got my $100 smpo apart to repair the keyless works. Thinking about doing a hand swap and maybe a relume. What are some other common mods for this watch? Remove AR? Fix pearl? Swap happy feet omega logo? This was my first rep and I figure a good one to learn on. Any links or advice would be appreciated. Jkay Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 A21j hands are not compatible with Omega or ETA hands. The pinions on the gears are the wrong sizes. If you want to improve the watch, you will need to relume what you have. Since your watch is not guaranteed to accept genuine parts, I can't say it will even take a gen tube and crown combo.
