Noisy ticking handwind Venus 75

I recently picked up my first Daytona rep with a handwind movement, and the ticking noise is really bothering me. I can hear it clearly from 4-6 feet away depending on the ambient noise level.

Is this typical for this movement? Would a service help?

Like gen 62xx Daytonas (powered by modified Valjoux 72Bs), the Venus is a relatively loud ticker.

Just keep it for 20-30 years.....You won't hear it ticking then!! B)
