Hey,

I need help of any IWC pros. As I think that my rotor is loose I need to open the caseback to check it. Any info on how to open it without special tools available!

try to wear a kitchen plastic gloves and place the back case at the centre on your plam, give a little pressure and rotate your watch slowly and gentlely,

it sounds stupid but really works :)

Take a hot glue gun put the hot glue on a round block of wood (the one my children play with are perfect) press the block on the casde back let it dry and you can open the watch withaut scratches. The wooden block ist easy to remove after closing the watch.

Really? Only with the palm? I cant believe.

 

And for a BigPilot? Also use palm, gloves or sticky ball? Or would it be better to buy a case opener tool and use the round bits?
