Wow, how useful will this be for me!! :Jumpy:

I'll put on my set of Geordi-Eyes and wander off into the woods, and all I'll see is a little hourglass icon endlessly spinning since there's no cell service. But then.... just as I hear a branch snap in the woods, I'll regain a snippet of cell coverage and a Wiki article will pop up with:

The brown bear (Ursus arctos) is a large bear distributed across much of northern Eurasia and North America. Adult bears generally weigh between 300 and 780 kilograms (660 and 1,700 lb) and its largest subspecies, the Kodiak Bear, rivals the polar bear as the largest member of the bear family[2] and as the largest land-based predator.

Adult male bears are particularly aggressive and are avoided by adolescent and subadult males. Female bears with cubs rival adult males in aggression, and are more intolerant of other bears than single females. Young adolescent males tend to be least aggressive, and have been observed in nonagonistic interactions with each other. Dominance between bears is asserted by making a frontal orientation, showing off canines, muzzle twisting and neck stretching to which a subordinate will respond with a lateral orientation, by turning away and dropping the head and by sitting or lying down.

Recommendation: bend over, place head between knees. Kiss ass goodbye.

  • 2 months later...

Most of the Android apps I use have ads plastered all over them, there's no reason to suppose these glasses will be any different.

I just wonder how long it will be before someone is killed wandering around blindly using these things. As if being "powered" by Google isn't bad enough, the safety implications are quite obvious.
