1:1 versions, are they worth it?

As everyone said already, yes it is definitely worth it.

One thing that nobody has mentioned here and I wrote about it many times (you can see my past posts) is that if you plan on keeping that rep for a long time, you will need to service the movement, preferably right away, so definitely factor this into your entire cost of the piece. So for instance total cost for 111 Noob would be in the low $400's. And it is very well worth it.

And if you ever decide to buy a gen, don't ever buy a new one, Find a good deal on a mint pre-owned piece.

I think getting a excellent rep is good at first, then moving on to the Gens. Gotta try them all out before going all in for the real deal!

Pre owned mint would be a geat way to go on a gen, and even a rep for that matter. Agreed!
