If A Rep 7750 Fails Due To Lack Of Service...

What I am asking is let's say I pick up a watch that runs on an unmodified asian 7750... I don't get it serviced and in a year or two it fails...

Is it usually pretty easy to pick up a gen 7750 and swap it in rather than repair the broken asian copy?

Remember that the hand hole sizes are different for the new Asian 7750s with a Valjoux 7750..( There was a The Zigmeister post about that too...)

Sooo it will be the ripe time to source that gen hands that you always want. ;)

It also depends on the model.. the 7750s that I know of have running seconds at 9 (not at 6)

I think parts of the Asian 7750 for the hands can be swapped into the ETA 7750 movement as well, but ideally get the genuine hands so you have a 100% ETA movement :thumbsupsmileyanim:
