new here... help needed on recent order...

hi folks,

need some guidance from the experts... relative noob here, and might be having a problem with an order, I think...

Ordered 2 watches from a TD back on Apr 5, received and approved QC pics on Apr 8. To date (Apr 20), no watches recieved, tracking number has not worked thru EMS or anywhere. What makes it worse, in one of the email comms from TD earlier, I had a different tracking number that showed something shipping to Canada. (I am CONUS). strange.

I emailed TD and inquired, response was, "just be patient and it will show up." He referenced the tracking number in the QC pic as the correct one... but it still does not work for tracking anything. I am more than willing to be patient and wait, but something just doesnt seem right. I have made 2 orders before from same TD and both arrived within a week, no problems with tracking or anything.

Should I listen to TD and just sit tight, or do you think something is indeed wrong on and I should lean back on the TD?

yep, I recieved QC pics and the 2 watches on the shipping bill that I approved back on Apr 8. everything seemed in order and exactly as the first two orders...

Have been using that tracking # and does not work... (I recieved the wrong EMS # in paypal notice i recieved for the order and chalked that up to just an error.)

feeling like there was a shipping screw up or something and it ended up in canada!

Update on this... TD got back to me with a fishy story...

After 3 weeks of waiting they said, "just be patient it will show up.". Still no tracking # or package. I emailed them back to to check a final time... He finally said, "oh your package has not shipped because one is out if stock.". I found that strange since I already had seen and approved the QC pics!

I challenged how that could be and they back and said "oh, the watch was discovered to have a problem and we have no others in stock to send. Just wait a few more days and we will have more."

So I guess I just wait more... I asked if I could choose another watch that was in stock to get this done, but he said "just wait and it will be in stock soon".

Will wait another week for any progress then likely ask for a refund.

I am more than willing to wait, no problem. Just seems like something is fishy here...

Just to close and share how this one ended up... Order did finally arrive last week. Took about a month from start to finish, where other orders were about a week. And outcome was great... I never received new QC pics, but what I received ended up being great.

So, although it was a bit non-standard transaction (whatever that means :). All did turn out OK. Patience and trust... Lesson learned.
