Lots of Pics!! Panerai 205a Slytech

Just finished up another build today. This one's been sitting in my parts bin for quite a while now. Quite like the Slytech PAM's but I don't really fancy the PVD ones so I went for a 205a. Of course this required a very special case. When I saw w0lf was making some modified 111 cases into PreV cases, I jumped on the chance to order one. I must admit that his work is impeccable!! I have yet to see such a great looking case set!! Dial is from Martyd3. Caseback is of course a Jakob case back. Nice and thick with excellent engravings! CG is a V CG modified by the Zigmeister. Hands are FGD PreV hands with the lighter colored, non matching lume.

One thing I would like to change however is the cannon pinion. I've been scouring the internet looking at pics of the gen one, and the cannon pinion is flat on the gen. Is that a mod, or can I purchase a flattened cannon pinion? Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Also, anyone know what strap this is on the gen?

Not sure on the CP but you should be able to have it filed flat and repolished.

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured. No gen strap then for me I'll have to find a suitable aftermarket one. I quite like the look of that strap though. It looks well worn

Yeah I sold it a while back to fund the Nikon. It is vastly superior to the Tamron in every single way. It is an outstanding lens!!!!

Project Update. Just got this back from Ziggy. New FGD dial, full service and relume. Also did a re-work on the V-CG to make it snap like the gen. Before it was way too tight.
