Virtually ALL automatic watches have rotors than can be readily heard when turning....That's how the watch gets wound.. Unless the noise is really loud, and "scraping like" it's usually best to just get used to it... mt666tm Posted April 28, 2012 Report Share Posted April 28, 2012 I always take off the rotor and put a drop of mobius on the bearing on an A21J If it's an A-7750 and you can replace the rotor bearing with a Swiss ETA bearing. Some rotors with saw-tooth bearing you may have to have them machined a bit to accept the ETA bearing. It will be silent after you do this.
