Watchmeister Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Amazing how that cyclops suspends in mid-air.
HauteHippie Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 That's what good AR does... The first time I saw an Omega PO at an AD, I thought crystal was missing too (no floating magnifier there)!

Pugwash Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 I get that on some of mine when I use a polarising filter ... Gen or Rep?
tvt Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 While it is possible that it is because of the AR (which is great) it is much more likely due to a polarizing filter and perhaps some retouching. If you know how to light glass you don't need an AR coating.
fotoman Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 I get that from my polorizing sunglasses - love to stare at the watch when wearing the sunglasses but i agree the PO is super clear - in most watches with AR you still see small reflections that are blue in color (note not the whole lens blue, just the reflection of the bulb. PO really looks like no crystal
