calatrava Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 My wife just got a preowned Rolex Ladies Datejust President from a local jewelry store, and I was trying to get a second opinion about whether everything looks okay? It has an E serial number, which dates it as a 1990/1991 model.
w.genzo Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 Yes, the visible parts look ok. If you open the caseback you could be 100% sure. The clasp should be ref. O, P or Q.
janeto72 Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 looks good on the outside.....you need to see the movemnt to be 100%
correctime Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) Nice. Edited April 30, 2012 by correctime
panerai153 Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Looks pretty darn good for a 22 year old watch. As was said, have to open it up to make sure the movement is correct. I am a little concerned about the bracelet. It may be the correct one, but the fit of the endlinks doesn't look right. It looks like the bracelet is attached directly to the watch, with no endlinks? Cancel that thought, I just had a look at several obviously genuine, and they all look exactly like hers. If she got it at a good price, it looks fine. What about service? has it been recently serviced?
calatrava Posted April 30, 2012 Author Report Posted April 30, 2012 Yes, it's recently been serviced, and it's backed with a two year warranty by their Rolex certified watchmaker.
