Finepics
I have been asking Davidsen if he would make the correct size GMT hand in silver for these GMT watches and also if he could do the correct minute hand (as well as correct his own 063's glaring hand faults) as a set with the new GMT hand. Now he has told me that it costs $400 to set up the machines to cut the hands so I just want to know how many would be interested in either a full 063 GMT set and a single GMT hand for the others. No Pm's - just indicate here please.
mikellem
I would take 1 complete set!
Finepics
When you answer indicate exactly if a set for 063 or the GMT hand only for the other watches as I need fairly precise numbers. Alos there is nothing definite here - just gauging interest.

TK471
Full set for a 63. P.S. Some of these signatures are going to get me in a lot of trouble with my office IT team.
Watchmeister
I would be good for 1 full set and a pair of GMT only hands. And by the way I have a set of genuine GMT hands for the 63 (which I haven't mounted up yet) for reference.

Highflyingclive
As long as the cost is reasonable, I'll be in for a set for the 063, plus a couple of solo GMT hands.

Chronus
If it's reasonably priced, fully superlumed, and finepics will perform the surgery for me, I'd want a set for the 063 and 029 (if correct for this model).

Finepics
Not sure if this will happen as the set-up costs too high. There might be another avenue I will explore and update when I know more.
cskent69
Mark, do not give up yet. Let this hang out there for a little while (perhaps not everyone is on due to the holiday here). Also - perhaps it would be worth a reminder to those with 063's that the hands we have on our watches were actually meant for the 029. They are too long! pannylovernr1
Genuine hands on Ebay is 200 USD + shipping which is crazy. Hope Finepics can get us a better deal than that to make our GMT's more accurate

Hope Finepics can get us a better deal than that to make our GMT's more accurate Yeah, you're looking at $216 for the hand sets on the 'bay. Factor in $450 that I paid for the watch, $265 in full service and lume that I've got into the watch, not to mention the datewheel which is coming, we're looking at a lot of money into this watch. Is it worth it? It may be. I guess that's a personal call. All I know is, my wife found out about this habit of mine and is seriously angry about it. I don't need to drop another couple hundo into this watch now.
pannylovernr1
Finepics, please do a headcount and make a rough calculation what these hands would cost us now ? Don't leave our poor GMTs hanging there
pannylovernr1
Bump EDIT: Whopsie! Sorry for bumping this. Guess it was too expensive to make these hands and we leave it at that. But if you still decide to go through with these hands Finepics, you got a buyer right here Edited December 11, 2006 by pannylovernr1
