How much do you guys wind your watch from a dead stop? I'm still new with the manual winding and am not so sure how much to wind the watch without harming it. I know they say "when you feel resistance", but that's still kind of difficult to base on when to stop. Can anyone help? Right now I'm just counting to 50 winds.

when you get to the end you will know, keep going i would say you have about 10 more winds to go

Once fully wound you cant turn them anymore. It is quite obvious when you have reached the end.

Yes expect it to get tighter as youre winding, when you do feel its becoming harder to wind do it gently the first few times then you will get the feel of it, just dont go too crazy on thefirst few times.

Hand-wound watches fully stop when they are 100% charged. Automatic watches never stop winding, as the spring is designed to slip if you over-wind it.
