flyback
I was browsing the bay looking for a rlx sub 7mm crown and tube when i saw this set: http://cgi.ebay.fr/Rolex-SUBMARINER-5513-1...VQQcmdZViewItem What do you think? hk45ca
the tube seems to be finished nicely but with out a shot from the end i can't be sure. gen will have teeth for installing and removeing. maybe somebody with more experiance will have a better idea about it than i. Jetsons
They are rep crown & tubes. I almost fell for the same trap but was saved by Ubi. Good thing you asked before taking the plunge.
ubiquitous
Oli bought some of those. The image depicts a genuine set, but what he ended up receiving was a rep crown and tube. Not recommended.

Guest avitt
That tube looks like the one that Helfands used to sell. If this package sold at replica prices, it might make a nice alternative for those who don't want to invest in genuine parts.
flyback
May you have a web link or a name of a trusted ebay seller to be sure to buy REAL crown and tube? What is the average price for a new or second hand triplock crown/ tube? Thanks!
ubiquitous
I wouldn't bother with those in the auction at all. Especially at $48.00. A big waste of money... When I get gen crowns in bulk, I'll sell them for anywhere from $18 - $25 per (depending on how large the lot is). You can get a good, high quality aftermarket tube for $25. So, $25 for the crown and $25 for the tube... You're right at the same price and with a genuine crown. That, to me is a better buy

Bodo
I offer crown and tube sets in the parts section They are from original manufacturers - from that point they´re gen, They were bought in bulk, so they´re not in rolex labeled single blister pack - from that point they´re not gen... They are top quality and match Rolex specs - long shaft tube and so on. Everyone having bought them by now was satisfied.
