Superdome#39 Rep Tropics On The Bay

Just found out that there do exist replicas of the #39 superdome. Clarks sells them on the bay. I ordered other parts from him before and he ships fast and stuff is pretty good. Don't know about this rep tropic.

I have found a gen one myself through AT but this is affordable and looks pretty good...

What do you guys think

I suspect you can never be sure anymore if they are gen or fake nowadays... since these reps have appeared... Good news for MBW 1665 owners though...

Where can you buy the gunuine flat tropics? I still have not made my mind up if I should go flat or domed, but as I can't find flat tropics I may jump in for this domed version instead.

Do you think the ebay crystal is worth it? Or are you aware of another place to buy a real or rep crystal that is good quality?

For what it's worth, it possible to see either type on the DRSD. They originally came equipped with the SD39, but it's not uncommon to see a Flat as an RSC replacement.

I think the clone looks quite good. But, I would talk to Nanuq, as I believe he may know of a better one.

I noticed the slight defect on the ebay dome too. Do you know any other places to buy them? Rep would be best as the outlay on a genuine superdome would be to much lol.

Maybe a genuine #39 flat crystal though, but I can't find any.

It would be fantastic if you could get a genuine flat tropic for me I understand they are not so expensive as the superdome version and I prefer the look anyway

I have seen the heflands version, but I did not like the style of crystal. They are great value though.

I am thinking of getting a white letter dial to replace my DRSD one.

Anyone out there wanting to do the opposite and change from a white letter dial to the DRSD?

My DRSD dial has been modded by repaustria too! The hour markers have been expertly aged
