Problem with membership upgrade

Unfortunately i am not able to become a vip member. PayPal always asks me to register a credit card but i don't want to do it. There is currently money on my PayPal account so there should no need for a credit card. Can anyone of the admins or mods please help me to become a vip? Thanks.

Dont see why you cant up grade then? at what point does it ask you to enter a creditcard?

I choose the VIP membership for 5,00 USD, click on continue, click on the PayPal-button to complete my order, log in to my PayPal account and then there comes a message (in german language) that i first have to register a credit card. I never had this problem before. Maybe someone of the staff can send me an invoice so i can pay directly!?

Still no chance to upgrade to VIP without credit card. Is it possible to send the money directly to a mod or admin?

I get the same as you now as well, and i dont want to register a credit card either.

this is a paypal thing rather than forum issue, Admin is away right now but i will see if a co admin can help

that´s the reason why I couldn´t upgrage since my membership has run out. No credit card.

You should fix this problem.

I tried to upgrade but I cannot due to the language , I don't understand a word of it , Can we not use paypal invoice in English?

Just got back from vacation, so unable to answer this until now;

This is something PP requires and is not some restriction we have added.

You can also do manual transfers for a 1 time payment. Just PM or e-mail me (admin@rwg.cc) for instructions)

This has been a PP rule for a while now. They do this to verify the account. You used to be able to use throw away cards but I don't believe you can now.

I am having the same issue. Maybe a member of the admin team could use his paypal account to receive these payments for upgrades....
