Has anyone seen the green 116610 from trevor?

As anxious as I am to get my hands on a TC sub, I am willing to wait for the next version. In the mean time I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the 2010 hulk from trevor time. Has any one seen or ordered one. Look great and the price is right. I currently only have black dial and bezel subs and thinking that the green would be an interesting change. Any thoughts guys?

I'm still waiting to see some user pics of the new bezel. That is the main improvement on the trevor or noob-factory 11610LV from what I have read. The green color is suppose to be closer to gen, though the font is still too thin

From what I understand its the same case and bracelet as the noob black Sub-C but with a sunburst dial and an improved green ceramic bezel. However, the sunburst dial is not as good as one that is already available from trusty Pre-Noob 116610LV. I say this because the new noob 116610LV's round markers look to be too thick. I have the 'pre-noob' from trusty and I'm tempted to get noob and swap out the dial. Oh, one other thing is both versions have incorrect spacing on the "300 m" as I can tell.

As for the green as a change from the black. I love it, I spend too much time in bright areas moving my wrist back and forth to catch the light on the sunburst dial. ;)

I know its not exactly what you were asking for since I don't own the new noob LV but hope it helped.

Photos are a bit deceiving, especially with this watch. The green can look 10 diff shades in 10 pictures. If I wanted to I could snap 10 shots of it, compare the photos to the gen and only show you the one or ones that look closest. I have seen it in person and it doesn't really hit the mark unfortunately.

While it would be best to get one from TC, unfortunately TC is not working on any ceramic subs AFAIK.

I wish he would or some one of the same caliber would just so we can get a case where the ROLEX engraving is properly spaced. That annoys the heck out of me as that cannot be fixed. The cyclops was the biggest issue IMO but now we could possibly use BC crystals if it fits.

All of that said, I broke down and ordered one from Trevor, and I'm in the process of getting QC pics right now.

So keep saving and go for the TC sub then huh guys?

Yes I know I think until TC perfects the 16610 he will stick to it.

?

You do know TC is not making the things in his basement, right?

He's a guy who found a way to buy from a factory in China. He is not actually manufacturing them. He is not "perfecting" them; at most he can communicate to the factory what the buyers want and may be able to effect a change in what they make in the next production run.

Will post the QC pics when I get home tonight, be warned though while a great guy, Trevor doesn't have the best setup for pictures, so lookin at the bezel color in his pics are not a good indicator.

Yep, never thought he was making these himself, but it would be awesome if TC or someone else could get the factories to put out ceramics, with a case that has proper rehaust engraving. I've seen it on DJs but for some reason its too much of a challenge to do it for subs, GMTs, ect...

Thanks!

I have to say I'm still skeptical about the rehaust alignment, the shot is at 12 o'clock the true test of the alignment is at the 7 o'clock, if I am not mistaken the Gens start there and 1 letter per min marker.

Most reps start 2 mins before the 7 o'clock mark and are spaced out weird but end up aligned at the 12.

Of course then I saw sneed12's Super HULK and sweet rehaust on that :good:

Yes the pearl looks nice and the rehault looks aligned.

Enjoy your watch, very nice.

Thanks, I'm a little freaked now regarding the non sunburst dial lol I went back and read my email chain twice...

Anyhow, a member of RWI has posted pics of his noob LV. They are much better at showing the dial and bezel.

Not sure if I can post links to that so I'll play it safe.

looking good
