Good gentlemen of the forum can you tell me if 7928 submariner case will fit a Rolex 1570 movement???

I have both and wanted to know if maybe you guys could tell me if it would fit before I uncase the 390 that the 7928 currently houses

I have heard they are very close to being the same. If I had a later model I would not even try,

Thanks for the response Andy. I am going to (Hopefully) put away the Chapter Ring Dial and the 390 and install the 1570 and refinished 5513 dial so I can enjoy the watch while preserving the original dial in a deep dark safe.

I have a better idea, trade the case, dial, and movement to me so I can build a Big Crown.
