greekgod Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 Guys what do you think? I think its a rip off personally for the amount of wear there is on the strap! I have seen gen straps go in pristine condition for $200. I made an offer actually of $250 coz I got carried away.... lucky it was rejected! presente21 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Just bought a gen strap at AP Boutique, paid U$550,00 tax included for a hornback. Sent from my iPhone

rogerthat Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) If I recall correctly I paid $575 for mine on eBay in new condition Was pre owned but not worn Even in beat up condition I would not expect to see less than 300 No buckle included of course The link you sent has a fair amount of wear but still in very good condition The selling price of 399 seems about accurate though no bargain The gen shows some wear quickly and darkens in color Edited August 15, 2012 by rogerthat

My idea is if I have to give $400 for a pretty worn out strap might as well throw in a 100 more and get a near new!
MADRED7 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Those straps are expensive ... I sold a used one (rated 75%) for over 300$, and that was 2 years ago! Dr. Theo
edgematic1 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 imo they are kinda worth it, it's a lot of money but nothing beats the gen AP hornbacks...
greekgod Posted August 25, 2012 Author Report Posted August 25, 2012 Guys I agree 100% that nothing beats a gen AP and thats my search however I am talking about THIS particular one..that was really worn out and had stains on the back..it was really not worth it I would say it was more like 50% used
