The case lugs and grownguards look a bit thick, but other than that, nice watch, and more than upto the job required

Is Andrew's version in the link above the best version out there? Ahead of mods of course. I'm about to buy my first one. All advise and suggestions are appreciated.

Don't buy the version you linked, with the modified "decorated" movement. The paint they use on the gears has been known to flake off inside the watch; ALSO the false bridge attachment has been known to fall off and rattle around inside of the watch.

Get either the A21j version which uses a reliable Chinese GMT movement *Or* the normal ETA/Clone movement which according to a trusted forum watch maker, now wears a re-designed GMT module which is much more reliable than in years past.
