CPTony Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 I am about to buy a nice Tudor snowflake but thinking to transform it into a sub 79090 by changing dial and hands when they come available someday. Is it possible or am i missing something? Tnx
TeeJay Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 If you can track down a 79090 dial, then it'll be an easy conversion
gavidoc Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 The service replacement dials for a 9411 are the same triangle dial as the 79090. I can't remember which but a 2784 dial won't fit a 2824 or vice versa due to dial feet thickness.

gavidoc Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 Not an issue, just a case of clipping the feet and use dial dots... You will the same amount for a gen 9411 dial as a 79090 dial. Why ruin a dial when they pop up for both movements and one is backwards compatible?
