browngo1
Just got a newsletter update from Andrew, as I'm sure many of you have. Seems that the problems shipping to the UK have been resolved. I'm guessing Joshua will send a similar update soon.

browngo1
Sorry, deleted the newsletter, but it said, basically, that they had made new arrangements and shipping to the EU and UK was now safe.
panerai153
Interesting? i got the same email as well. Doesn't affect me, as I live in USA. my question would certainly be, how are they accomplishing the "safe shipping"? Anything that moves in and out of a country has to go through customs. Unless they are bulk shipping to another EU country and then reshipping to the UK, which avoids the Shipped from China postmarks and customs forms. What is the policy of customs relative to packages shipped from say Poland to France, or Austria to UK? Do they go through customs clearance, or are they treated like packages here in the USA that are shipped from Texas to California?
browngo1
I would assume that shipping between countries which are members of the EU would not be subject to the same attention as packages sent from non-EU members, but I could be wrong. If this is the case, then yes, it would make sense for dealers to try and bulk ship to the EU.
lufcmattylad
I got the same email. It's curious how this works or how one would order this service from andrew. I suspect the package would be sent to a country which is either inside the eu (or boarders the eu ) and then forwarded on. Shipments within the eu are not subject to customs. Still curious to see how this works and credit to Andrew for solving this issue so quickly.
Jkay
Resolved in What way any more information? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 The newsletter said that "arrangements have been made" with another 2nd party shipper/forwarder in the EU, and Trusty will stand behind/guarantee shipments.
