cyphion Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 So I was changing the insert on my GMT last night, and went in to far and popped the crystal. I know, rookie mistake. So seeing as to how I did this, I am going to replace the crystal with a Clark one. It is a 16700 built from the 16570 Explorer 2 case. I know that it needs the 295C2 crystal, but what about the gasket? Do I need a 2.5, 2.7, or 3.0mm one? Also, I know its a noob question, but where does the gasket go? Lastly, does anyone know where to get the little o-ring that goes in between the retaining ring and the case. Mine has seen better days. Thanks in advance for the help Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Tiyal Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 Clark should have all the gaskets you need, see if you can get all three sizes for the crystal. I think it 2.7, they should be really cheap. Same with the gasket under the retainer, I just order a few sizes to ensure I get the right ones. Clark sells sets of three for around 5$ and ships faaast Good luck
