roktoy Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 (edited) Hi, this is my first purchase of replica from a trusted dealer. Does this look acceptable? I think the lumes look offcenter on 2,3,6,7, and 8 o'clock positions. Edited September 19, 2012 by roktoy
strattakan Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 well, this is kind of normal with the skyland. The quality is something like a roulette. But seems the upgrade V2 shows in josh site have great lumedots.
maxman Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Looks good to me. Those lume dots are never going to be 100% perfect. That being said....looks exceptable to me. Mike
P4GTR Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Not sure I agree. The latest Skylands I've seen had the lume dot issue completely resolved. Also, there is the H factory release with superlume out now. I wouldn't take that watch, decide cautiously.
frankpower88 Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 do not accept this one, there are way better ones available
roktoy Posted September 19, 2012 Author Report Posted September 19, 2012 Dealer found me another one, this one looks much better. The lume dots all look good. Only thing i could see is the 3oclock lume, it kind of looks like its overflowing onto the date window. I asked for a better pic. But I am excited this might be the one. Thanks for your input so far, much appreciated.
roktoy Posted September 19, 2012 Author Report Posted September 19, 2012 Heres a closeup of the 3oclock lume. Not sure if its a flaw or just the picture.
frankpower88 Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 this one is much better and acceptable
maxman Posted September 21, 2012 Report Posted September 21, 2012 Dealer found me another one, this one looks much better. The lume dots all look good. Only thing i could see is the 3oclock lume, it kind of looks like its overflowing onto the date window. I asked for a better pic. But I am excited this might be the one. Thanks for your input so far, much appreciated. Remember the first pic was taken on a angle and that is going to change the preception of the lume dots. As I stated above....lume dots will never never be 100% perfect. They can be very good...but so far...not perfect. Gen below for comparision The silver rings are more prominent and the lume dots are perfectly centered. That being said...the second watch looks very good. The lume dot above the 11 Is a bit sloppy...but no one Is going to notice It. Mike
Guest idraw Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 The 3 is the trickiest, but that second one does have some good dots.
roktoy Posted October 2, 2012 Author Report Posted October 2, 2012 Got the Breitling in from Trevor, looks awesome. Thanks for the help.
