Is there a holiday going on in china? Been trying to get ahold of watchinternational for a few days but nothing...usually they reply super fast but I understand during holiday they are slow.

Yes - But technically it starts this coming Sunday for a week. Its the National holiday, the second longest to Chinese New Year.

But often people take the week either side off too, so it is possible things will be slow for the next 2.5 weeks.

Starting from September 30th there is the Chinese mid-autumn Moon festival which is about 3 to 4 days.

i have no idea if the factories will close for this, but usually nobody is working during these days in China.

Simply yes.

2 holidays as stated above, the mid Autumn and the Chinese National day, the place is closed down until the 5th or 6th.
