Mates, Gents, Members,

received my Noob PAM243 on rep Asso from Torobravo yesterday and [censored] - this is really a beauty and a monster. Promise to post pics here, but please let me ask a question:

The lever does not sit thight on the CG, and it can be opened very easily. I remeber to read smthg about a hot glue fix, but can't find helpful results. Can anyone please explain the HG fix, or what can be done to thighten the lever. Can you give me some advice?

Thx in advance

J

The hot glue fix is to use a electric glue gun, Put glue in the lever hole. Let it cool down. Put the lever back into the cg. Put the pin on top. Use a glue guns tip to heat the pin and slowly push it in place. It makes the lever be less loose.

The glue method makes it sometimes a bit messy and sometimes leaves glue residu on the cg/lever.

This is a better method btw: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=91320

It is on repgeek, hope it is allowed to post. sorry admin if it is not ;)

The hot glue fix is just for a the pin to lever tolereance, what you are describing is the lever not exerting enough force on the crown, in this case removing some metal from the feet of the crown guard feet where they join to the case is the solution.
